| Purpose: | The 2009 TIAA/CREF Election Change Form is used to increase or decrease the amount of additional contribution to the employee's TIAA/CREF Retirement plan. Please note that the form now requires the employee to enter a DOLLAR amount to contribute per pay period vs. a PERCENT. *NOTE:* Please keep in mind that there will be 27 pay periods during 2009. For example, if you intend on contributing the $16,500 maximum, divide that amount by 27 for a $611.11 per pay period contribution. For those over age 50 you can contribute up to $22,000, divide that amount by 27 for a $814.81 per pay period contribution. |
