UCAR Business Continuity Policy
UCAR is committed to insuring the effective availability of its science, products, services, equipment, platforms, information and facilities by implementing a coordinated Business Continuity Plan for critical business operations. Critical business operations include those activities whose disruption, would result in significant loss of data, information, revenue, breach of agreements/contracts, inability to meet agreement/contract deadlines and provide importatant services. Individual laboratories, divisions, programs, departments are responsible for identifying critical business operations, providing necessary information for completing an effective business continuity plan, conducting timely updates and changes to their plans and implementing their specific disaster recovery activities. Safety and Site Services is responsible for coordinating a corporate wide program, emergency response activities and disaster recovery operations.
